Product Description
Digital Picoammeter, Dpm-111
We manufacture, export and supply Picoammeter to our clients in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. This is a very versatile multipurpose equipment for the measurement of low dc currents. It has 6 decade ranges with 100% over-ranging from 10-9A to 10-4A. For the ease, readings are directly obtained on a 3 digit DPM.
The instrument uses a well designed precision FET input electrometer operational amplifier AD549, which offers the lowest input bias currents (50fA with +5V supplies) available in any standard operational amplifier. The excellent characteristics of AD549, ultra low bias current, low offset voltage, low drift and low noise have been fully utilized to obtain best results in the present picoammeter. The first operational amplifier AD549 is used in low level current to voltage configuration and the output has been directly read on a 3 digit panel meter. The instrument is capable of accepting either polarity of the input current. Well regulated power supplies are incorporated to use the instrument up to 10% changes in a.c. main's voltage.
Symbolic to all the success, we have gained in the industry, remains our status as prominent manufacturer, exporter and supplier of an innovative array of Digital Picoammeters. Our offered range is ideal for being used in general laboratory and R&D labs. By employing updated techniques and advanced equipments, we fabricate this versatile multi-purpose equipment so as to maintain industry defined standards. Apart from this, our offered range is available at a comprehensive price.

FAQ's of Digital Picoammeter, Dpm-111:
Q: How is the DPM-111 Digital Picoammeter most commonly used in laboratory experiments?
A: The DPM-111 is typically employed to measure very low currents, such as leakage currents in electronic circuits or during sensitive laboratory research. Its high sensitivity makes it essential for applications where exact current quantification is required.
Q: What are the main benefits of using a 312 digit 7 segment LED display with auto polarity in this instrument?
A: The display provides clear, easily readable measurement results and automatically detects polarity, removing the guesswork and reducing mistakes during setup and measurement, which enhances reliability in critical experiments.
Q: When is it advisable to use the DPM-111 instead of a standard ammeter?
A: Switch to the DPM-111 when measurements require picoampere-level sensitivity, such as in precision electronic or physics experiments where standard ammeters are not sufficiently sensitive.
Q: Where should the DPM-111 Digital Picoammeter be installed for optimal performance?
A: It should be placed on a stable, non-conductive surface in a lab environment, away from strong electromagnetic fields, to maintain measurement accuracy and minimize external interference.
Q: What is the typical process for operating the DPM-111 in a laboratory setting?
A: Connect your sample or circuit to the instrument's input terminals, power on the picoammeter, and observe the current readings directly on the LED display. Adjust settings if needed according to your specific experimental setup.
Q: How does the material and color of the DPM-111 contribute to its use in labs?
A: The grey electronics-grade housing is robust and reduces glare from lab lighting, while the quality materials ensure safety and durability even with frequent use.
